Page 12 of the 1990 Annual Report, highlights the focus on some very important divisions of Primac Limited. They include Rural Property, Rural Finance and Insurance.
There is some interesting reading, including the appointment of Primac as marketing agent by the Water Resources Commission to administer the marketing of farms in the Burdekin River Irrigation Scheme. Rural finance short term lending showed a “healthy increase ” of 26% year on year. Also in the 1989/90 year, Primac Insurance, reported some difficulties, but healthy increases in underwriting commissions, following the decision to switch to Mercantile Mutual as their major underwriter, in December 1988.
