Primac Gurus

Primac Holdings Limited History

Welcome to the Primac Gurus website. Primac Holdings Limited was formed in 1975 from the merger of two great Queensland Stock & Station Agency Businesses, Queensland Primary Producers Co-Operative Association Ltd known as “Primaries” and Mactaggarts Primary Producers Co-Operative Association Ltd known as “Mactaggarts”. With this site and the Primac Gurus facebook group we are recording the history of Primaries Co-Operative formed in 1920 and Mactaggarts founded in the late 1880s, and merged in 1975 to form “Primaries Mactaggarts” and couple of years later the name was changed to “Primac”. This site sorts the available information into 3 main sections, Branch Timeline / Histories, Primac Gurus Bio / Histories and Gurus stories.

Primac Gurus 2022 Reunion

Primac Gurus second annual reunion was held recently on the 29th of October 2022 at the Toowoomba City Golf Club.

Approximately 50 delegates attended the gathering, a little down on numbers from the previous year but it was pleasing to see many new faces on the day.

Prior to the reunion the Primac Gurus Association’s first-ever Annual General Meeting was held at the same venue.
